About Forrest Training

Why we do what we do

Training, and in particular good training, is a passion of ours.  The directors, Kelly and Kevin, are proud to provide a high standard of training for our clients, and we pride ourselves in seeking feedback and continuously improving and adapting our courses to meet the needs of your company and your staff.

We were fed up of attending training courses, with instructors who were underprepared, reading from a powerpoint or script, and not engaging with their audience – often sending them to sleep!

We guarantee, that you will never receive the same training twice!

Company Goals

Our promise is that every training course we deliver is never dull, never boring, and never forgotten.

Our vision is that training should be enjoyable because this helps people to be engaged in their learning, which in turn means that they will retain the information.  When delivering life-saving training, such as First Aid and Mental Health First Aid, this couldn’t be more important.

We believe our training style is unique, and that both our trainers, and the design of our training material, brings our courses to life for our learners.

History of Forrest Training

Kevin and Kelly founded Forrest Training in 2018, after Kevin had been contacted by a number of companies asking him to provide training for them.  The demand was there, and he was being recognised for the high standard of training he was already delivering.

After a couple of years of traveling as a man in a van to deliver training onsite, the pandemic hit and we had to readdress the way we delivered training – this included retraining and developing a range of e-learning and zoom based courses.

In November 2020, we got back to face to face training but onsite training became harder as businesses were unable to let visitors into their buildings.  So Forrest Training moved to Queens Gardens in Aberdeen and we had our own training room which was fantastic.

But we soon outgrew this, as the world started to return to more normality and the demand for training increased.  In November 2021 we moved to the Atriums at Rosemount Viaduct and we now have two fantastic training rooms in the centre of Aberdeen, with free onsite parking and easy transport links.

We couldn’t be prouder of where we have come from, and are excited about where we are heading!
