Advanced pet first aid level 3 (VTQ) covers much more detail about the different injuries and illnesses that can affect dogs and cats. The course has been designed to give the pet owner or pet professional much more information to be able to detect early when something is wrong and give the appropriate care. This course builds upon the standard Canine First Aid course, by offering in-depth insights into various illnesses and injuries you may encounter.
The course also covers the anatomy and physiology of animals and different first aid treatments that are available. Although the treatment for dogs and cats is similar, the advanced course has a dedicated section for cats.
This course is a ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualification (VTQ) and is ideal for pet professionals or individuals.
As a blended course – Blended training is where you complete the online module (6 hours) and a practical module (approx 6 hours) locally with an approved instructor where you also cover practical subjects to gain the full qualification certificate.
TQUK endorses this qualification to show our commitment to extra levels of compliance and quality assurance.
