What the course is about
There are 1.5 million people in the UK with a learning disability, that’s approximately 2.16% of adults in the UK, and 2.5% of children in the UK.
Having a learning disability can affect each individual differently, but having an understanding of how to support someone, by communicating with them effectively, or understanding their daily challenges, can make a tremendous positive impact on their lives.
